Productify AI — Chrome extension · Last updated 30 October 2026

Introduction

Productify AI is a browser assistant that compares products, finds cheaper prices and coupons, summarises reviews, videos and pages, helps with coding problems, drafts email replies and answers questions by voice. This policy explains what it sends, when, and what is kept. Productify shows no advertising and never sells your data.

The short version

  • Nothing is read or sent in the background: a page, thread or scene is used only when you press a button or ask (or, if you switch it on, the optional price check on product pages).
  • Your items, chat history, tracked prices and preferences are stored in your own browser.
  • Email you ask about is used to write the draft and then discarded. Productify never sends email.
  • Your CV stays in your browser. Your name, email, phone, address and profile links are removed before it is ever sent, and Productify never applies to jobs or submits anything for you.
  • Productify never presses pay, place order or checkout, and adds no affiliate links.
  • When you ask it to do something on a page, it shows every step, asks when it is unsure, and leaves anything that pays, sends, submits or deletes for you to press.
  • Screenshots and video frames it looks at are described by an AI model and not stored; they are not kept in your history.

What is sent to our servers, and when

  • Pages you add or ask about. When you add a page or ask about the one you are on, its product details or readable text are sent so the assistant can answer, compare or find prices, reviews and coupons.
  • Your questions and the answers. Kept with the conversation so follow-up questions make sense, and removed periodically.
  • YouTube videos. When you ask for a summary, the video's public transcript is sent to summarise it. Transcripts of public videos may be cached to answer the next person faster.
  • Email (Gmail and Outlook). Only when you press Draft reply or Summarise thread, the text of that one open thread is sent to write the draft or summary — with email addresses and phone numbers removed first, and only names kept. It is then discarded — never stored, never used for anything else, never sold or shared. Productify never sends email: the draft is placed in your own reply box for you to read and send. Email sites cannot be added to your items.
  • Job assistant (your CV). A CV you add is stored only in your browser. When you press Check my CV, Am I a match?, Tailor my CV or Cover letter, its text is sent — with your name, email address, phone number, postal address and profile links removed first, on your device — together with the job advert you have open, to write that one answer. It is not stored on our servers and not used for anything else. Productify never applies, fills in or submits anything on LinkedIn or any job site; you copy what you want to use. You can remove your CV at any time from My CV & job help.
  • Streaming (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, JioHotstar). While subtitles are on, the lines shown on screen are kept in your browser tab's memory for 15 minutes so you can ask about the scene. They are sent only with a question you ask, and never stored. The picture itself is never captured.
  • Doing something on a page for you. Only when you ask (for example "find the cheapest train" or press Do it for me), the page's text and the names and current values of its buttons and fields are sent with your request and any details you give, to decide each next step. This is not stored. Productify works in your own tab, shows each step, asks you when something is unclear, and never presses pay, send, submit or delete — those are outlined for you to press.
  • Screenshots and video frames. During such a task, a screenshot of the visible tab may be sent when the page needs to be seen — at the start and when a step is not working. When you ask about what is on screen in a video ("what's going on in this video?"), a few frames of that video are sent with its title, channel and recent captions. Both are described by an AI model to answer you, then discarded: they are not stored on our servers, screenshots are never shown or saved, and video frames are removed from the panel once answered. Protected players (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, JioHotstar) are never captured.
  • Tips and lessons about websites. To use a site better, Productify looks up public tips about it (for example how its search works or where its cheapest options are) and keeps them for 30 days. When a task gets past a problem — because the assistant worked out why, or because you did a step yourself — a one-line note about how that website works is kept (for example "station boxes need a suggestion clicked"). These notes are about the website, never about you: personal details are removed before anything is kept. A note is used for your install at once, and for others only after it has worked for two different installs.
  • Coupons. To find codes, the shop's name and your country are sent. Only when you press Try these codes here, codes are typed into the shop's own coupon box on that page and the total is read back. Productify never presses pay, place order or checkout, and adds no affiliate links or cookies.
  • Price check on product pages (off unless you turn it on). If you switch it on in Preferences, the name and price of a product page you open are sent to check other shops and coupons, so a small "cheaper elsewhere" note can appear on the page. Off by default; nothing is sent while it is off.
  • Voice. Your speech is turned into text by your browser. Spoken replies are made from the answer text by our voice service; no recording of your voice is kept.
  • Share links. Only when you press Share, the answer and items are saved so anyone with the link can view them, for 90 days.
  • Prices you choose to send. Only from the right-click menu ("Send this product's price"), the price of that product is shared to improve price comparisons.
  • Fair-use counting. Each request to our servers carries a random install ID created for this purpose alone. We count, per day, how many answers each install uses — an ID, a feature, a date and a number — to apply the daily fair-use limit and, later, Pro. Nothing else is attached to it.
  • Pro waitlist (optional). If you ask to be told when Pro launches, we keep that install ID and, only if you give it, your email address, to send you that one message.
  • Anonymous usage statistics. Events such as "compare used", with a random install ID that is not linked to you and your country. No browsing history is collected.

Stored only in your browser

Your added items, chat history and sessions, tracked prices and alerts, preferences (budget, brands, region), your CV and its contact details, and pages you open as a full page stay in your browser's extension storage. Removing the extension deletes them. When a task on a page ends, its saved record keeps only the website and the result, with email addresses, phone numbers, postcodes, card numbers and dates masked. A short note of the last task (masked the same way) is kept until you close the browser, so "continue" can pick it up.

Reading pages for you

To check prices you track or read reviews you ask for, Productify loads those pages with your own browser session, the same as if you opened them. It does not get around sites' bot checks or sign-in walls.

Who processes it

Our servers (hosted on Vercel), the AI model providers that write the answers and describe screenshots and video frames, the search services that find prices, reviews and coupons, the speech service that voices replies, and Google Analytics for the anonymous statistics above. They process data only to provide these features.

Your rights

  • Access or delete the data we hold about you — email us with your request
  • Clear your items and chats at any time from the extension
  • Stop all data collection by removing the extension

Children

Productify is not directed at children under 13.
